Are you a pug owner? Does your pug adore spending the day in your lap? Unlike most all other breeds, pugs were and are bred exclusively to enjoy domestic life — or life literally in the lap of luxury. Because of this, throughout history, pugs have enjoyed ownership by some of the world’s most famous political figures and celebrities.
Pugs have also gained popularity through their use in several animated movies. These pugs become very special in they eyes of movie watchers, and have helped the breed gain recognition.
